March of Dimes Canada
A seasoned marketing professional with over 18 years of experience. Alex started his career in the private sector, with Corporate Express and CIBC. However, his love for building relationships and championing the underdogs coupled with a passion for philanthropy led him to move to the non-profit sector starting with Plan Canada, where he was part of the team that launched “Because I am a girl” – a campaign that resulted in the United Nations declaring October 11 as the International Day of the Girl. He then had successful stints at St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation where his team contributed to surpassing a $210 million campaign, making St. Michael’s Canada’s premier critical care hospital and at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, where his team developed and oversaw UNHCR Canada’s fundraising program where his team quadrupled net revenue in the last 5 years.
Most recently, he joined the March of Dimes Canada where his team is playing a pivotal role in driving the next chapter of the organization’s evolution and advancement of its new ambitious strategy. Stay tuned!
