Dr. Thea Zunick is a seasoned professional dedicated to helping people thrive in all aspects of their lives. She is currently employed as the Senior Manager of Community Engagament at The Jed Foundation, a non-profit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for our nation’s teens and young adults, and is a national coaching, speaking, and facilitation expert through her company Thrive Speaks, LLC.
With a deep-seated passion for emotional intelligence, wellness, joy, and resiliency, Thea is recognized for her work with mission-driven organizations and her ability to engage young adults and professionals alike on these critical topics. Her impressive credentials include authorship of chapters in three published books and a co-authored article on Thrive Global. She has developed and led learning workshops for organizations such as OLLY vitamin, Teach for America, Americorps, GEP, AIG, BASF, and dozens of collegiate student leadership organizations.
An avid learner, she earned an Associate’s Degree from Middlesex County College, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey, a Master’s degree in Student Personnel in Higher Education from University of Florida, a Doctorate of Education for the Design of Learning Environments from Rutgers University and is a certified emotional intelligence and change management coach.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Thea volunteers her time hosting events and providing non-profit advice for a local artist, stays active by hitting the gym, and considers herself a foodie connoisseur. She is also a devoted dog mom to her rescue pup Tootsie.
