Gayatri Bhalla

Gayatri brings more than twenty years of experience working with top brands (including Disney, Roku, Viacom, T-Mobile, General Motors, Pfizer, and several national political campaigns) and broad, multidisciplinary experience in the public, private and non-profit sectors to her role at GMMB.

Gayatri’s experience in politics and policy includes stints both on and advising political campaigns as well as roles in government. She has been immersed in data infrastructure, digital and social paid media, online fundraising, digital partnerships, and organizing/canvassing tech for multiple entities including Biden 2020, Bloomberg 2020/Hawkfish, Buttegeig 2020, Warren 2020, Ready For Hillary, Clinton-Gore ’92 and ’96, the DNC, Catalist, TargetSmart, and dozens of political agencies and advocacy organizations. She has also served at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the Departments of Commerce and State.

Her most recent roles include serving as the Chief Evangelist at LiveRamp, a leading adtech and identity company, and Chief Digital Officer at Infogroup, one of the largest data companies in the country. Gayatri has developed digital transformation strategies for organizations across a broad range of industries (including CPG, non-profit, telecom, QSR, entertainment, political, auto, healthcare, and media) and her expertise spans digital marketing, digital brand experience, advanced television, cross-channel measurement and analytics, data and identity, and social and digital media (both paid and organic) strategies. She has held senior roles at Publicis and Wunderman as well as independent agencies. Gayatri began her career on Capitol Hill and also served as a Special Assistant for Strategic Planning to the U.S. Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Gayatri teaches a graduate level seminar in Innovations in Integrated Marketing as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University.

Gayatri earned her MBA from the Yale School of Management and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley where she was an ASUC Senator and inducted into the Prytanean Society and the Order of the Golden Bear. At Yale, she was an Olin Research Fellow and Teaching Assistant in Marketing and served as an Advisor on the Goldman Sachs/Yale School of Management Non-Profit Ventures Fund. Gayatri has served as the longest running Commissioner of Northwest Little League in DC and on the boards of Yale Women DC, and the US Fencing Association, Capitol Division.
