Matt Banning

Matt Banning, a proud father of two (soon to be three) children, has always had a strong affinity for technology. Beginning his career in the US Army Signal Corps, he acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in communications and networking. After leaving the military Matt joined an IT company as an Office 365, CRM, and SharePoint consultant. It was there that he grew passionate about helping organizations achieve their goals in a modern workplace by designing and implementing customized solutions to optimize processes and enhance productivity.
Matt is currently the Director of Data and Technology at United Way of the Piedmont where he leverages his experience to automate repeatable procedures, improve reporting, and streamline accounting processes, ultimately leading to enhanced donor satisfaction and increased income. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and appetite for technology, Matt remains committed to continuous learning and keeping up with the latest advancements.
