Director, Annual Fund
Maryland Food Bank
Lauren Webb Tolstoi, Annual Fund Director for the Maryland Food Bank, is a passionate fundraiser with over a decade of experience supporting the missions of education, arts and human services organizations in the state of Maryland. She has raised tens of millions for projects ranging from the nation’s largest free arts festival to STEM scholarships for Baltimore City high school students. While her career has touched all aspects of fundraising, from grant writing to planned giving, she is most passionate about direct response fundraising due to her appreciation for creative storytelling combined with a deep, unrelenting love affair for anything that can go into a spreadsheet. She was able to unite these two loves with a Master of Arts Management degree from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz School of Public Policy. When she isn’t fighting hunger at the Maryland Food Bank, you can find her at Camden Yards cheering on the Orioles or on the Peloton, applying the same love of data to fitness goals.
