Eva Dillon is a Certified Fund Raising Executive with more than twenty years of experience working for nonprofits in the Czech Republic, Alaska, and Washington DC.
Ms. Dillon joined MHP in November 2014 as its Director of Advancement and got promoted to Vice President of Advancement in 2021. In her role, she leads MHP’s efforts to raise private funds to support the mission of MHP, housing people, empowering families, and strengthening neighborhoods in the Washington DC region.
Ms. Dillon has built development programs for numerous organizations, including the International Rett Syndrome Foundation, where she focused on leadership giving and direct marketing to fund medical research and family support programs for those touched by the rare disease. Ms. Dillon also oversaw the first national comprehensive fundraising campaign at Hostelling International USA, raising $3.4 million to build hostels and cultural exchange programming; raised funds for educational programs and advocacy efforts on behalf of young adult childhood cancer survivors at the Children’s Cause for Cancer Advocacy; worked to support English-language education and nonprofit sector in the Czech Republic at the Prague Post Endowment Fund; and helped to raise funds at the Drop In Center for Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse in Prague, Czech Republic.
Ms. Dillon has been an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Washington DC Metro Area Chapter since 2008 and served on its Board of Directors in 2012-2015.
