Pat is an entrepreneur, performance-based marketing expert, non-profit strategist, and industry thought leader.
He established Further in 2012, initially as a division of Key Acquisition Partners (KAP) of which he was also a Founder. In 2018 he orchestrated a spin-off of Further into its own entity to allow for better brand positioning and more service offerings for clients.
With deep expertise in audience-based marketing, Pat has a fresh perspective on the future of digital fundraising and advocacy. From his experiences at KAP since 2005, and before that as an early employee in Merkle’s non-profit strategic services division, Pat has always known that the power of performance-based marketing starts with audience insights.
In addition to an agency background, Pat possesses high-level client-side expertise that benefits fundraising clients in pursuit of industry-leading solutions for digital acquisition and integrated multi-channel acquisition solutions. His holistic understanding of non-profits stems from his tenure as Vice President of Development for the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) where he directed NFCR’s direct mail, online giving, planned giving, major gifts and corporate partnership operations.
With more than two decades of experience in direct marketing, Pat has worked with many of the most well-known and successful non-profits in the nation including Toys for Tots, the International Rescue Committee, Ronald McDonald House Charities, No Kid Hungry, Amnesty International, Greenpeace, National Park Foundation, Catholic Relief Services, and Volunteers of America. Additionally, some of his most rewarding experiences have emerged from his privilege in working with smaller, but equally important, charities that have grown year after year to new heights.
